Equipment & structure design
Machine, fixture and industrial equipment design, with sheet metal and steel structures, detailed to the point a workshop can build from it.
What is delivered.
Scope is fixed in writing before work starts. Anything not listed here is quoted separately.
Your equipment is due and the design is running late.
The production slot is booked, and the drawings are not finished yet.
You have no in-house sheet metal specialist.
Parts are sheet metal, and flat patterns, bend allowances and press constraints sit outside routine work.
You have a concept, but no fabrication detail.
A layout or sketch is agreed internally, but nothing is dimensioned, toleranced or released for the workshop.
Five steps, stated inputs.
Each step names what TEHNORA needs from you, so the delivery date holds.
Required from you
Duty, envelope, material and quantity. Any existing CAD, drawings or photographs.
Required from you
Written confirmation of the scope and the delivery date. Countersigned NDA, if you asked for one.
Required from you
One review (call or marked-up PDF) inside the agreed review window.
Required from you
Preferred materials, stock sizes, supplier constraints and your drawing template.
Required from you
Consolidated comments per revision cycle, so the index stays readable.

SOLIDWORKS
Part and assembly modelling, weldments, sheet metal, drawings and configurations. Native files issued at the version agreed in the scope.
DraftSight
2D drawing production and legacy DWG work, for archives and suppliers that stay in 2D.
Drawings are issued on your sheet template, title block and tolerance defaults. Where none is supplied, TEHNORA issues on its own sheet format and states the projection method and general tolerance class on every sheet.
CSWPA-SM is the sheet metal certification, and sheet metal is half of this service. Flat patterns, bend tables and forming tools are produced under it, not approximated.
01 Who owns the IP, and is an NDA signed?
Files are treated as confidential. If you want an NDA, it is signed before you send any files; it can be yours, or TEHNORA issues one. Models, drawings and source data are yours on final payment; TEHNORA keeps no reuse right and no derivative library.
02 Which file formats and drawing standards do you work to?
Native SOLIDWORKS and DraftSight, plus DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, STL and PDF. Drawings are issued on your sheet template and title block; where none is supplied, TEHNORA issues on its own sheet format and states projection method and general tolerance class on every sheet.
03 How are revisions handled?
Every issue carries a revision index and a change note listing what moved. Revision cycles inside the agreed scope are covered by the fixed price; a scope change is re-quoted in writing before work continues.
04 What are typical lead times?
It depends on how demanding the project is. The committed date is written into the quote with the fee, before work starts, and is not estimated afterwards.
05 How is pricing structured?
Fixed price per project, quoted from your files. No hourly billing and no open-ended retainer; if the input changes, the scope and price are reissued.
